Astro- Influences 2019: Pt 1: Vision/Hope/Expansion

Each year, Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, travels through one astrological sign, bringing a "fortunate growth spurt" to all it touches – in our society as well as in our personal Birth Charts.

For most of 2019, Jupiter will be traveling through the high-spirited sign of Sagittarius.  This delivers a hopeful, optimistic, future-thinking, philosophical, risk-taking, “Life is Good!” vibration to whatever area of your Birth Chart it aspects. 

Jupiter’s expansiveness works on lots of levels: First and foremost it brings an inspiring energy.  If you are so attuned, Jupiter can heighten your priorities to connect spiritually.

This is the year many of you will reinvest in your spiritual path, or seek and find a teaching that really lifts you, and/or travel or take classes that awaken your consciousness.

Jupiter also stimulates our philosophical and mental energies, giving us a greater urge to find and/or apply meaning to whatever we are doing in life.

This amazing planet also imbues us with confidence, possibly giving you more gumption to do things that expand your life. Perhaps you’ll run for office, or show your art or walk up to that gorgeous (foreign) stranger and let them see how brilliant and fabulous you are!

Jupiter is famous for expansive, adventurous, even lucky life experiences: It can bring you a terrific job or promotion, help you move to that intriguing state or country, or create a life-changing “introduction” to someone opens huge doors for you.   

And, YES: Jupiter can bring financial windfalls!   

In fact, Jupiter expands whatever you most need for your up-lift-ment, learning and growth. 

As since it loves awakening our consciousness, Jupiter especially encourages endeavors that involve writing, higher education, teaching, traveling, spiritual and religious pursuits and foreign involvements.

If you have been waiting to write that book, travel abroad, get that degree or study meditation,  this is the year to do it!

That said, we also have to watch for the downside of Jupiter’s influence, which usually involves some type of going over-board on the expansive-ness thing.

Over-confidence, cockiness and assumptive-ness are some of the attitudes you might want to watch this year- in yourself and others. Also watch that hope about the good future doesn’t eclipse tending to the realities of now.

Another big challenge of Jupiter in Sagittarius is righteousness.  Spiritual, religious, and moral extreme-ism can run rampant in 2019.

Issues of Immigration, morality, law and foreign affairs are likely to dominate our global karma and the news.

This Astrologers note: You may feel distinctly “NOT lucky” when Jupiter starts to work with you.  Sometimes, before Jupiter can truly expand us, it exaggerates whatever stands in the way of our expansion - so much that we must see it and begin to deal with it.  Then, Jupiter can do it’s work!

That is part of what January and 2019 is about – planets traveling through enthusiastic Fire Signs, giving us the courage to initiate (daring) steps towards pursuits that excite us.

ECLIPSE Highlights Karma 2019 Astro- Influences   Pt 2

You might want to pay special attention to what's going on in your life and in your consciousness now as last night's Capricorn Eclipse triggered one of the most significant Astrological Influences beaming through 2020.

This Astro-Influence is a challenge to develop your Authority, Strengths, Power and Responsibility (aka ability to respond) in a way that is karmically important to your purpose this life.    

Eclipses often mean something is going to "eclipse" or take precedence over, your plans.

Since this Eclipse involved Saturn, the planet that deals with our responsibilities and authority, it might be foretelling that the way you use your responsibilities, roles, status and structures in life might be changing in surprising ways! 

That's because Saturn works with each of us to hone and master our capabilities and gifts. 

Often called the karmic teacher, Saturn encourages us to use maturity, discipline, patience, accountability and endurance to learn the lessons our souls want to master this lifetime.

Saturn pushes us to succeed, but rarely hands us success: It wants us to earn it so we know how to do it; to make it our own. 

That’s why the Saturn’s influence usually involves some sort of challenge, heavy responsibility or even frustration that, as we work through, we develop strengths and abilities we never knew we had. 

Throughout 2019 Saturn will be transiting the sign of Capricorn, highlighting an area of your life where you are ready to go through an important “restructuring process” so you can express more leadership, authority and claim your (earned) seniority.
